Your first 24 hours✨

❌Resist the urge to touch or pick at your new tooth gem with your fingers or tongue.❌This is the most critical time for the adhesive to cure. It is also an important to be gentle and avoid any vigourous brushing or flushing around the tooth gem area! 🦷 During your first 24 hours, you need to avoid eating hard, sticky or crunchy food which could include things like hard sweets, nuts popcorn, chewing gum, toffee crisps, crusty bread, raw carrots, or apples ( unless they’re cut into very small pieces) you want to avoid acidic foods or drinks such as citrus fruits, vinegar based dressings, fizzy drinks or energy drinks . 🥤 Acids can weaken the bonding agent! If you must consume them, rinse your mouth thoroughly with water immediately afterwards. ☕️You want to avoid very hot beverages such as tea or coffee excessive heat can affect the bond during its initial curing phase therefore you want to let drinks cool down to a nice, lukewarm temperature before consuming.🍺🚭I would strongly advise to avoid alcohol or smoking for the first 24 hours as they can interfere with the bonding process and potentially stay in the area. 🪥Maintaining good or hygiene is also important (but make sure you’re doing so carefully for the first few hours) avoid aggressive swelling with mouthwash or strong brushing. ✨During your first 24 hours you might feel a slight foreign sensation on your teeth, which is normal. This usually subsides within a few hours as you get used to it.🦷✨
