At SVM, I believe true performance comes from the partnership between an animal and the person working alongside them.
Whether you are a horse and rider, horse and vaulter, or dog and handler, both partners influence movement, balance and performance.
With my background in Veterinary Physiotherapy and Sports Massage Therapy, I have a unique understanding of biomechanics, movement and physical demands from both the animal and human perspective.
My aim is to support the complete partnership, helping animals and humans move better, feel better and perform at their best.
Sports massage therapy is a targeted hands-on treatment designed to support muscular health, movement and recovery.
I have been qualified in Sports Massage Therapy since 2021 and combine this knowledge with my veterinary physiotherapy experience to provide a tailored approach for riders, athletes, handlers and active individuals.
Sports massage may help support:
✓ Reduction of muscular tension and tightness ✓ Recovery following training or competition ✓ Improved mobility and flexibility ✓ Better movement awareness ✓ Physical preparation and maintenance during demanding schedules
Sessions are adapted to your individual needs, lifestyle and goals.
Your first sports massage appointment lasts approximately 60 minutes and includes a discussion of your activity levels, goals, training demands and any areas of concern.
A movement and posture assessment will help identify areas of muscular tension, restriction or imbalance, allowing treatment to be tailored to your individual needs.
Treatment may include targeted sports massage techniques and advice to support recovery, mobility and performance.
Follow-up appointments typically last 45–60 minutes and are adapted depending on your goals, activity levels and progress.
