I had a fantastic experience with Derek and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great massage. From the start he was very friendly and made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed. What really stood out was how attentive he was to the areas where I had pain. Derek took the time to focus on those spots and clearly knows what he’s doing. He checked in to make sure the pressure was right and worked carefully on the areas that needed it most. By the end of the session I felt a huge difference and much more relaxed. Derek is professional, skilled, and genuinely cares about helping you feel better. I’ll definitely be booking again! Thank you Derek :)

I’ve had a couple of treatments with Derek now and he’s made a huge difference to the pain I was experiencing in my neck and shoulders. He asked lots of questions before the session and really explained what was going on (trigger points in my upper traps if I remember rightly!) the treatments themselves have been wonderful, so relieving, and he’s shown me how to do some really nice stretches in between sessions. Overall I’ve been so impressed, he really knows his stuff and I’ll definitely be back. Thanks, Derek!

Often I feel anxious and struggle with being touched, but Derek made me feel so safe and actually managed to relax me to the point it felt like waking up from a very long night sleep! He was very careful not to go to deep where I'm sensitive. And the experience was amazing. I have seen him 4 times now and keep recommending to all my friends! Thank you so so much for respecting my boundaries and removing all that stress from me!!!

I’ve had various treatments with Derek and every time I’ve come away feeling completely relaxed and reset. He has such a calming presence and immediately makes you feel at ease. Each treatment has been incredible: soothing, but also really effective. He has used techniques like skin rolling which really help release tension and the hot stones are amazing for helping me properly switch off. The waxes he uses are absolutely lovely too and make the whole experience feel really luxurious. What I really appreciate is that it never just feels like a treatment and then you’re sent on your way — he also gives really helpful tips for continued wellbeing afterwards, which makes it feel much more personal and thoughtful. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping people feel better, both during the treatment and beyond. I’d thoroughly recommend him to anyone looking for a relaxing, professional and restorative experience.

How have I been feeling? SO MUCH BETTER. Pain levels have reduced loads. I felt properly human again and stayed that way. My hip feels less janky and the focus on relaxation, myofascial work, Amma compression and less trigger point work was definitely the right balance for what my body needed.

I came to Derek for pain in a number of areas of my body, and have been really happy with the improvement in both pain and mobility post treatment. Derek listened carefully to my symptoms, took me through a thorough range of movement tests, then took the time to explain his plan for treatment, which I found extremely reassuring. Each treatment has been targeted, sensitive and skilful. Highly recommend Derek as an informed, intuitive and effective massage therapist.
