I've had a couple of treatments with Derek now and he's made a huge difference to the pain I was experiencing in my neck and shoulders. He asked lots of questions before the session and really explained what was going on (trigger points in my upper traps if I remember rightly!) The treatments themselves have been wonderful, so relieving and he's shown me how to do some really nice stretches in between sessions. Overall, I have been so impressed, he really knows his stuff and I'll definitely be back. Thanks Derek!

How have I been feeling? SO MUCH BETTER. Pain levels have reduced loads. I felt properly human again and stayed that way. My hip feels less janky and the focus on relaxation, myofascial work, Amma compression and less trigger point work was definitely the right balance for what my body needed.

I came to Derek for pain in a number of areas of my body, and have been really happy with the improvement in both pain and mobility post treatment. Derek listened carefully to my symptoms, took me through a thorough range of movement tests, then took the time to explain his plan for treatment, which I found extremely reassuring. Each treatment has been targeted, sensitive and skilful. Highly recommend Derek as an informed, intuitive and effective massage therapist.

Getting regular massage for the last ten years since the first Ironman, since qualifying as a massage therapist, since pregnancy, childbirth, since setting up my practice, etc… just life in general… let’s just say I know massage is the right therapy for me to invest in frequently. The returns are 💯 when you choose the right place and it didn’t disappoint. The myofascial leg massage I received this afternoon was excellent and has relieved the tightness in my gastrocs and plantar fascia + it’s also fun to gain new perspectives and pick up some tricks on the way. I’ve been having regular treatments with Derek for my frozen shoulder and his hyper focus on helping me is so appreciated. It feels it’s a good stage further forward. Whatever he did last time was extraordinary… it hurt a lot but in a good way. My ROM is defintly improved.

Since my first treatment, my calf muscles have definitely felt a lot happier, and my swelling has reduced quite a bit so as not as tight. Overall, my foot pain is already so much better and I am keeping the stretching up. Thank you again so much for all your time on Friday. You made me feel comfortable and safe.

A big fan & advocate of massage, I've had 2 massages with Derek now and they have been the best massages I've ever had. Derek is an excellent massage therapist in more ways than one, from the moment you walk through the door you feel instantly welcomed with his warm energy & tranquil space he has set up for you. I felt safe, respected & he totally understood what I needed from my massages. The first I had was a full body relaxing massage after a long & strenuous run of an Acting gig I had at the time. It helped my body & mind so much just taking that time for myself. I felt completely renewed after. My second massage I had was targeting the problem area for me of my lower back, Derek's great knowledge of the anatomy meant he found other areas that the pain I was experiencing actually stemmed from & he worked very hard to help relieve my pain & improve movement that was restricted prior to my massage. I just cannot recommend Derek’s treatments highly enough. Absolute magic worked & as a performer it's so great to find someone who really understands the strain it can put on your body & knows exactly how to help. The massage experience with Derek is one of calm, serenity, understanding, knowledge, professionalism, respect, relief, bliss with a touch of magic & charm. Absolutely my go to!!
