Hello, Iâm Jo, your facial therapist.
Iâve always been passionate about hair and beauty. I started my career in hairdressing but shifted my focus to beauty treatments and have been doing for the past six to seven years. I truly enjoy the calming aspect of these treatments.
However, my working life has been challenging. I had to take a break from work due to a significant health setback. Despite this, I continued to learn and attend training courses to enhance my knowledge and skills. I did my best to make the most of the situation.
It was during this time that I noticed a connection between the products we apply to our skin and their impact on our bodies and minds.
I became an ambassador for an incredible skincare brand because I align with their values of using natural ingredients and their ethos. I was thoroughly impressed with their products. They made my skin feel gorgeous, soft, smooth, and most importantly, healthy. I started using and selling their organic skincare products, and Iâve carried on from there.
Having struggled with my own skin due to psoriasis, I wanted to learn more about it and gain a deeper understanding of skin anatomy. I wanted to be able to help others to feel happy and healthy in their skin too.
As soon as I was able, I enrolled in training, and my passion for facials was truly ignited.
I absolutely love the opportunity to provide a relaxing and transformative facial experience for my clients as well as been part of your skin journey.

I booked âThe relaxed facialâ with Jo and it was amazing. It was my first time visiting The Skin Space and Jo made me feel so at home and so comfortable. She messaged me before hand and gave me instructions on where to park and how to find her as there were planned road works. This was a great help as Iâm an anxious traveller sometimes and worry. We had a chat at the start of the appointment which put me at ease and set me up for the treatment. The bed is very comfortable and I had plenty of layers to keep me cosy. The products Jo uses are lovely, they feel incredible on the skin and smell even nicer!! (My personal fav is the one that smells a little like a Terryâs chocolate orange!). She used plenty of products throughout the treatment and massage and made sure I was comfortable throughout. I was so relaxed by the end of the treatment I could have fallen asleep.
