Thank you for your visit today. To get the best from your treatment there are a few things you need to do and some things to avoid. Please follow the aftercare to reduce the risk of skin infections, ingrown hairs and to leave your skin smoother for longer.
No hot baths/showers (cool to warm is ok) No saunas/hot-tubs/massage/steam/swimming No tanning/fake tan No sport/gym No sexual contact Wear clean and loose fitting clothing Avoid deodorant/sprays/make up
For the first few days you can use an after wax lotion such as bush balm or tee tree. 3 times a week exfoliate the skin well using circular motions to break down the dead skin cells and unblock the follicles. You can use a body brush, mitt or African sponge. There are also chemical exfoliants that can be used these can dry the skin and should be stopped 7 days before your next wax. Moisturise every day. This is even more important as the hair becomes finer as the hairs can struggle to break through the follicles. Do not shave it will be like starting all over again. See you in 3-6 weeks. If you have particularly fast regrowth and thick hair you may need to have more regular appointments, with consistency the time in between waxes should increase.
