General advice

Avoid water for the first few hours - Avoid immersing your nails in water or exposing them to excessive moisture for the first few hours after your manicure and/or pedicure. Moisturise regularly - Keep your nails and cuticles hydrated by applying cuticle oil and moisturising creams daily. This helps prevent dryness and keeps your nails flexible and healthy. Wear gloves for household chores - Protect your manicure by wearing gloves when doing household chores such as washing dishes or cleaning with harsh chemicals. This helps prevent the gel/biab from lifting or chipping prematurely. Avoid nail biting or picking - Resist the urge to bite or pick at your gel/biab manicure and/or pedicure, as this can damage the polish and weaken your nails. If you notice any lifting or peeling, book in for a repair. Be gentle with your nails - Treat your manicure and/or pedicure with care to extend its longevity. Avoid using your nails to scrape off stickers or perform other abrasive tasks that could cause damage your nails. Schedule regular appointments - Depending on the growth of your natural nails and the condition of your gel/biab, you may need to schedule regular maintenance appointments every 2-3 weeks.
