For those who can’t have product on their nails — or simply prefer to keep things natural. Your nails are shaped, tidied, and gently buffed to bring out their natural shine, followed by nourishing cuticle care and a hydrating oil finish.
This manicure focuses purely on nail health, leaving your hands looking neat, fresh, and beautifully cared for — no polish required.
Perfect for those who love a clean, effortless look or want to give their nails a little breather between treatments.
Pair it with one of my nourishing aftercare oils or balms to keep your nails feeling soft and healthy at home.
For those who love a little extra polish that lasts. Your nails are shaped, cared for, and finished with your chosen gel colour — applied gently to protect your natural nail while giving you that beautiful, lasting shine.
This manicure typically lasts around 2 to 3 weeks, keeping your nails looking fresh and glossy with minimal upkeep. Perfect for anyone who wants a tidy, chip-free finish that feels effortlessly put together.

Your nails are shaped, tidied, and finished with a builder gel overlay and a colour of your choice — designed to protect, repair, and encourage healthy growth while adding gentle strength and structure. The result? Naturally beautiful nails with a smooth, glossy finish that still feel light and flexible.
This manicure typically lasts around 3 to 4 weeks, offering lasting durability without compromising the health of your natural nails. Perfect if you’re growing your nails out, recovering from damage, or simply want a bit more strength day-to-day.

For fresh, natural nails with no existing product. If you’re arriving with bare nails — no gel, builder, or any other product to remove — this option is for you.
Starting with a clean base means I can focus fully on shaping, tidying, and creating your perfect manicure from scratch.

Hi, I’m Lian — the hands (and heart) behind The Country Nail Studio. 
I’ve created this little home-based salon in Great Barford as a friendly, welcoming space where you can relax, have a chat, and enjoy a bit of “you time.” My focus is on natural nail health — helping you care for and strengthen your nails, rather than masking them.
As a mum of two, I understand how precious those quiet moments to yourself can be. That’s why I work exclusively in the evenings, offering a peaceful, unhurried space to unwind at the end of your day — somewhere cosy, personal, and restorative.
When I’m not in the Studio, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, walking the dog, admiring my favourite Highland cows, or catching up on the latest NFL game with a cup of tea in hand.
