All appointments must be booked in advance via the online booking system. A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Your booking is not confirmed until your deposit has been received.
By booking an appointment with The Skin Date, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. Your deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment on the day.
Deposits are non-refundable. In the event that you need to reschedule, your deposit can be transferred to a new appointment date provided you give at least 48 hours notice.
Your appointment time has been reserved just for you.
We require a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will result in 50% of the treatment cost payable.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full treatment cost.
To cancel or reschedule, please contact us via Instagram DM (@theskindate) or the contact details provided at the time of booking.
Certain treatments, including but not limited to Korean lash lifts require a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment. It is your responsibility to book and attend a patch test within the required timeframe.
If you choose to proceed with a treatment without completing a patch test when one has been recommended, you do so entirely at your own risk. The Skin Date cannot be held liable for any adverse reactions in this case.
You must disclose all relevant medical conditions, skin conditions, allergies, medications, and any other health information that may affect your treatment, both at the time of booking and at each appointment.
Failure to disclose relevant information may result in your treatment being refused or discontinued. No refund will be given in this circumstance.
The Skin Date reserves the right to decline or discontinue any treatment at any time if, in our professional judgement, it is not safe or suitable for you.
For certain treatments, a GP letter of clearance may be required before we can proceed.
Some treatments are not suitable during pregnancy, including some chemical peels and microneedling. If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, please inform us before booking.
Our pregnancy safe facials have been specifically designed to be safe and nurturing during pregnancy. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss suitable treatment options.
Results vary from person to person and cannot be guaranteed. The Skin Date provides professional treatments tailored to your individual skin, but outcomes will depend on factors including skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, and general health.
Aftercare instructions provided following your treatment must be followed to achieve the best possible results. The Skin Date cannot be held responsible for suboptimal results caused by failure to follow aftercare advice.
Clients under the age of 18 must have written parental or guardian consent before receiving any treatment.
Please note we cannot treat any clients under the age of 16 due to insurance purposes.
The remaining balance is due in full on the day of your appointment following treatment.
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking. Prices are subject to change at any time. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect bookings already confirmed with a deposit.
Before and after photographs may be taken for record-keeping and professional portfolio purposes. By giving verbal or written consent at your appointment, you agree that these images may be used on The Skin Date’s social media channels (including @theskindate on Instagram and TikTok) and other marketing materials.
You may opt out of having your photographs used for marketing purposes at any time by letting us know before or at your appointment. This will not affect the standard of your treatment in any way.
We are committed to providing a professional and positive experience for every client. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your visit, please contact us as soon as possible so we have the opportunity to put things right.
All complaints should be raised within 48 hours of your appointment. We will aim to respond within 5 working days.
