Immediately After Treatment

  • Mild redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising is normal and usually settles within a few days
  • Apply a cold compress gently to the area if needed (avoid pressure)
  • Avoid touching, massaging, or manipulating the treated area unless advised by your practitioner
  • Keep the area clean and avoid makeup for at least 12 hours

For the First 24–48 Hours

  • Avoid strenuous exercise, gym sessions, and excessive sweating
  • Avoid alcohol, as this can increase swelling and bruising
  • Do not use saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds, or hot baths
  • Avoid facials, massages, or skin treatments in the treated area
  • Sleep on your back where possible and avoid pressure on the area

For the First 2 Weeks

  • Avoid excessive sun or heat exposure
  • Do not have further aesthetic or dental treatments unless approved
  • Allow the filler to fully settle before assessing final results
  • Attend your review appointment if advised
