By booking an appointment with The Skin Lord, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
Age Requirement & Identification
- Clients must be 18 years of age or over to receive treatment.
- Valid photo identification may be required to confirm age.
- We reserve the right to refuse treatment if ID cannot be provided.
Booking Fees & Deposits
- A 20% booking fee is required to secure all appointments.
- Booking fees and deposits are non-refundable.
- Deposits are deducted from the total cost of treatment on the day of your appointment.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
- Cancellations or reschedule requests made within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a charge of 80% of the booking fee.
- Failure to attend (no-shows) will also result in an 80% charge of the booking fee.
- Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require full payment upfront for future bookings.
Late Arrivals
- Clients are advised not to arrive more than 10 minutes early to prevent appointment crossover.
- Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may have their appointment shortened or cancelled.
- If an appointment cannot proceed due to lateness, it will be treated as a late cancellation and charges will apply.
Attendance Policy
- Clients must attend appointments alone.
- Children and additional guests are not permitted, in line with insurance requirements.
Health, Medical Forms & Consent
- All clients are required to complete medical history and consent forms prior to treatment.
- It is the client’s responsibility to disclose all relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, or changes in health.
- Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in treatment refusal and The Skin Lord accepts no liability in such cases.
- Clients should not attend appointments if they are unwell or have experienced COVID-19 symptoms within the last 14 days.
Treatment Suitability & Right to Refuse
- The Skin Lord reserves the right to refuse or postpone treatment if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
- In such cases, deposits may be transferred to a future appointment at the practitioner’s discretion.
Treatment Outcomes & Expectations
- Results from aesthetic and injectable treatments vary between individuals.
- No guarantees can be made regarding treatment outcomes or longevity.
- Multiple sessions may be required to achieve optimal results.
- Maintenance treatments are often necessary.
Treatment Courses & Packages
- All treatment courses and packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Missed sessions within a course are subject to the same cancellation policy.
Anti-Wrinkle Treatment Requirements
- New clients booking anti-wrinkle injections must fill out all forms promptly in order to obtain a prescription from my prescriber prior to treatment.
- Anti-wrinkle prescriptions are valid for 12 months, subject to medical suitability.
Aftercare
- Clients must follow all aftercare advice provided by The Skin Lord.
- Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect results and increase the risk of complications.
- The Skin Lord cannot be held responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from failure to follow aftercare guidance.
Complications & Emergencies
- All injectable treatments carry risks, including bruising, swelling, asymmetry, infection, or rare complications.
- Clients must contact the clinic immediately if they experience unexpected symptoms following treatment.
- Emergency care may be required in rare cases.
Concerns, Complaints & Feedback
- Any concerns regarding treatment outcomes must be raised within 28 days of the appointment.
- Concerns raised outside of this timeframe may not be considered.
Photography & Marketing
- With consent, before and after photographs may be taken for medical records and, where agreed, for marketing purposes.
- Clients may withdraw marketing consent at any time.
Data Protection & Privacy
- All client information is stored securely and handled in accordance with GDPR regulations.
- Personal data will not be shared without consent unless required by law.
Amendments to Terms
- The Skin Lord reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
- The latest version will always be available on the website.
