Aftercare

In the next 48 hours keep the waxed area clean, and avoid heat, sun, sweat and friction.

This means: • No hot baths or showers • No saunas, hot tubs, or steam treatments • No tanning (sunbathing, sun beds or fake tans) • No sports, gym, yoga, hot yoga, cycling or other exercise • Avoid scratching or touching the treated area • Wear clean, loose-fitting clothes • Avoid swimming in chlorinated pools • Do not apply body sprays, powders, lotions or other products to the area, other than those recommended by the therapist • No sexual activity after intimate waxing • Use clean towels after washing

Remember

You may notice a small amount of regrowth after a week or so.

It can take up to 4 treatments for your hair to get on a growth cycle that gives the best results.

Hair needs to be at least 0.5cm long before it can be successfully removed with waxing.

Exfoliation & Ingrown hairs

Exfoliation is crucial in preventing ingrown hairs. However, once they appear, it's best to avoid further exfoliation as it can irritate the skin and impede the healing process. Instead, opt for products suitable for ingrown hairs, such as those containing salicylic acid, which can effectively address the issue without causing further irritation. If you need recommendations for ingrown hair products, feel free to ask us, and we'll be happy to assist you.

To maintain your smooth appearance, I recommend that you regular wax every 5 WEEKS.

New Block

Please do not shave in between your appointments. If the hair is shaved again, you will need two weeks of growth to be able to wax again.
