Terms & Conditions 1. Introduction Welcome to Beauty and the Inked. By booking and receiving services from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully. ⸻ 2. Services Offered We provide a range of beauty and aesthetic services, including fine line tattooing, permanent makeup, laser tattoo removal, and selected beauty treatments. All services are performed in a private studio setting located in the United Kingdom. ⸻ 3. Patch Test Requirements Patch tests are mandatory for certain treatments, including but not limited to permanent makeup, laser tattoo removal, and selected beauty services. Patch tests must be completed at least 24–48 hours before your appointment. Failure to complete a required patch test will result in cancellation of your appointment, and your deposit will be forfeited. If you have had a previous sensitivity to any ink, or if you are taking medication, have a health condition, or believe a patch test may be needed for any product, please contact us before booking so we can assess suitability. ⸻ 4. Deposits and Payments A 50% booking fee (deposit) is required to secure all appointments. This is deducted from the final cost of your treatment. • For custom tattoos or treatments involving design work, 75% of the deposit will be retained if you cancel after booking, to cover design and preparation time. • Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, or do not attend your appointment. • Final balances can be paid via cash or bank transfer on the day. • Card payments are not currently accepted. ⸻ 5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. • You can reschedule your appointment up to 2 times. On the 3rd reschedule, a new booking fee will be required. • Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will result in loss of your deposit. • No-shows and cancellations under 48 hours (for custom tattoo work) will result in your full deposit being retained. • For custom tattoo designs, the deposit is a design fee and non-refundable regardless of notice given. ⸻ 6. Complimentary Top-Ups If you’ve been offered a complimentary top-up: • These are treated as standard appointments. • If you do not attend or try to reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice, a £10 rebooking fee will be required. ⸻ 7. Age Restrictions Clients must be 18 years or older for all tattoo and laser services. You may be asked to show valid ID such as a passport or driver’s licence. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if suitable ID is not provided. ⸻ 8. Health and Safety Please inform us of any allergies, medications, or medical conditions prior to your appointment. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we believe it could pose a risk to your health or safety. All procedures are carried out in a clean, professional environment following health and hygiene standards. For laser tattoo removal, the use of protective laser safety goggles is required during treatment. Due to health and safety regulations and the need for controlled laser exposure, clients must attend laser appointments alone. We cannot accommodate guests, and spare goggles are not available for anyone other than the client receiving treatment. ⸻ 9. Pre-Appointment Preparation To get the best results, please follow these simple guidelines: • Stay hydrated in the 24 hours before your appointment • Avoid alcohol the night before • Eat beforehand – do not arrive on an empty stomach • Wear comfortable, accessible clothing • Avoid applying creams, oils, or fake tan to the area to be treated • Please attend your appointment alone. • For laser tattoo removal, this is mandatory for safety reasons, as laser safety goggles must be worn during treatment and guests cannot be accommodated. ⸻ 10. Liability While we take every precaution to deliver safe and effective treatments, Beauty and the Inked is not liable for any adverse reactions resulting from treatment or failure to follow pre/post-care instructions. You are responsible for disclosing accurate medical information and following all advice given. ⸻ 11. Confidentiality All personal information shared with us is treated in strict confidence. Your details are stored securely and only used for booking, treatment, and communication purposes. ⸻ 12. Changes to Terms We may update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website or booking system, and continued bookings imply acceptance of any updated terms. ⸻ 13.
