These Terms and Conditions apply to all services, treatments and products provided by Beauty Within. By booking an appointment, purchasing products or receiving treatment, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.
BOOKING DEPOSITS
• New clients: 50% deposit required at time of booking • Existing / regular clients: 20% deposit required at time of booking • Deposits are non‑refundable if cancelled less than 48 hours before your appointment • Remaining balance is paid on arrival before treatment begins
1. SERVICES & TREATMENTS OFFERED
At Beauty Within I provide the following treatments and services:
Holistic Therapies: Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Hopi Ear Candling, Reflexology Massage Therapies: Full Body Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Cold Stone Massage, Pregnancy Massage Pregnancy Treatments: Pregnancy Massage + all suitable Holistic Therapies (adapted for safety) Advanced Skin Treatments: Microneedling, Dermablading, Chemical Peels, Skin Boosters, Polynucleotides Skincare: Professional home care products (Clinicare & other recommended brands)
All treatments are carried out by me, a fully qualified and insured practitioner, in accordance with current industry standards, safety guidelines and best practice.
INSURANCE: I hold full, valid professional liability and public liability insurance appropriate for all treatments offered. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
2. BOOKINGS, PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
2.1 Booking Procedure
All appointments can be made via this website/app, by phone, email or direct message. When making a booking, you agree to provide accurate and complete information including your contact details, medical history and any relevant health information. It is your responsibility to inform me of any changes to your health or circumstances before your appointment.
2.2 Payments
• Payment is required in full at the time of booking or upon arrival for your appointment, unless agreed otherwise.
• Accepted payment methods: Card, Bank Transfer or Cash.
• Prices displayed are correct at time of publishing. Beauty Within reserves the right to change prices; however, any changes will not affect bookings already confirmed and paid for.
• Price list:

2.3 Cancellations & Changes
• Cancellation with more than 48 hours’ notice: Full refund or transfer to another date free of charge.
• Cancellation with 24–48 hours’ notice: 50% of the treatment cost will be charged or retained; no refund is available.
• Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice / No Show: 100% of the treatment cost will be charged or retained; no refund or rescheduling is offered.
• Late Arrival: If you arrive late, your treatment may be shortened to ensure the next client is not delayed, and full payment will still be required. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a late cancellation.
• If I need to cancel or reschedule due to illness, emergency or unforeseen circumstance, you will be offered a full refund or priority rebooking at a time convenient to you.
• REFUNDS: No refunds or credits will be issued once a treatment has been performed or products have been supplied, unless due to proven fault or negligence on my part.
3. CONSULTATION, MEDICAL HISTORY & CONTRAINDICATIONS
3.1 Consultation
Before your first appointment, and at every subsequent visit, a consultation will be carried out to assess your suitability for treatment, discuss your goals and record your medical history. This is essential for your safety and to ensure the treatment provided is right for you. All information is kept strictly confidential.
3.2 Medical History & Contraindications
• It is your responsibility to disclose all medical conditions, current medications, allergies, surgeries, injuries, pregnancy status or recent changes in health. You confirm that all information provided is true and accurate.
• Some treatments have contraindications meaning they cannot be performed or need to be adapted. Examples include (but are not limited to): high/low blood pressure, heart conditions, diabetes, epilepsy, infectious skin conditions, open wounds, recent surgery, blood clotting disorders, cancer, fever or acute illness.
• For Pregnancy Treatments: All therapies and massages are adapted specifically for pregnancy. Treatments are generally offered from 12 weeks gestation onwards, subject to consultation and GP/midwife approval where advised. Positioning will be side‑lying (right then left) fully supported. Only pregnancy‑safe essential oils are used and only with your express consent. Pressure is always light to medium/firm but gentle, never deep or forceful.
• For Advanced Skin Treatments (Microneedling, Dermablading, Peels, Skin Boosters, Polynucleotides): These are medical‑grade procedures. Full medical screening is mandatory. You must disclose use of medication such as Roaccutane, steroids, antibiotics, photosensitising medication, history of cold sores, keloid scarring or skin cancer. These treatments are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• ASSUMPTION OF RISK: You acknowledge that all treatments involve some element of risk, including but not limited to mild reactions, sensitivity or discomfort. By proceeding, you voluntarily accept these risks.
• If you fail to disclose relevant information, Beauty Within accepts no liability for any adverse reaction, injury or outcome.
3.3 Suitability & Right to Refuse
I reserve the right to refuse, adapt or stop any treatment at any time if I consider it unsafe, unsuitable or against professional guidelines. I also reserve the right to refuse service due to inappropriate behaviour or language.
4. TREATMENT GUIDELINES & RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 Holistic Therapies & Massage
• Treatments including Reiki, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Hopi Ear Candling, Swedish, Hot/Cold Stone and Pregnancy Massage are relaxing and therapeutic in nature.
• Pressure will always be adapted to your comfort: light to medium/firm but gentle — never deep or forceful unless agreed.
• Essential oils may be used only where suitable and strictly with your express consent.
• Benefits are individual and results are not guaranteed.
4.2 Advanced Skin Treatments
• Microneedling, Dermablading, Chemical Peels, Skin Boosters & Polynucleotides are invasive or minimally invasive procedures designed to improve skin quality, texture and appearance.
• Results vary depending on age, skin type, lifestyle and compliance with aftercare. NO SPECIFIC RESULTS OR OUTCOMES ARE GUARANTEED. Multiple sessions may be recommended for best results.
• You must follow all pre‑treatment instructions given — failure to do so may result in treatment being cancelled or less effective results.
• Temporary side effects may occur including redness, sensitivity, flaking, swelling or bruising; these are normal and usually resolve quickly.
• Serious reactions are rare but possible; you must report any concerns immediately.
4.3 Skincare Products
• All products sold are professional grade and recommended for your skin type. Directions for use, contraindications and ingredients will be explained.
• No refunds are given on opened or used products unless faulty. Unopened products may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase, at my discretion.
• Patch testing is recommended where advised.
5. AFTERCARE & RESULTS
• Full verbal and written aftercare advice will be provided following every treatment. You agree that it is your responsibility to follow this advice fully. You acknowledge that failure to follow aftercare may reduce results or cause reactions, for which I cannot be held liable.
• Results are individual and depend on your health, lifestyle, home care and commitment. I do not promise or guarantee specific outcomes, as every person and body is different.
• You must contact me immediately if you experience pain, discomfort, reaction or anything unexpected after treatment.
6. HEALTH, HYGIENE & SAFETY
• Beauty Within operates to strict hygiene and infection control standards, using clean, sterilised or disposable equipment where applicable.
• Please ensure you attend your appointment in good health. If you have an infectious condition, fever, cold or flu, please cancel as soon as possible to protect myself and other clients.
• For Hopi Ear Candling: This is a relaxing, complementary therapy and is not intended to replace medical care. It should not be performed if you have ear tubes, perforated eardrum or recent ear surgery.
7. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMER
• All treatments provided by Beauty Within are complementary, wellness and aesthetic services. They are not intended to replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. I do not claim to cure or treat disease. Always consult your GP or specialist regarding medical conditions.
• Whilst all reasonable care is taken, Beauty Within will not be liable for any loss, injury, damage or adverse reaction caused by your failure to disclose medical information, failure to follow advice or due to pre‑existing conditions.
• LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: My total liability to you for any claim, loss or damage shall never exceed the total amount paid by you for the treatment or product in question. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
• Images and descriptions of treatments are for illustration only; individual results may vary.
8. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
• Your personal information, medical records and consultation notes are kept secure, confidential and in compliance with current Data Protection legislation.
• Your details are used solely for booking, consultation and service purposes and will never be shared with third parties without your permission unless required by law.
• By booking, you consent to me contacting you regarding your appointment and relevant service updates.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, text, images, logos and branding used for Beauty Within are the property of the business and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
10. AMENDMENTS
I reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available via this website or upon request.
11. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising shall first be addressed through informal discussion. If not resolved, it shall be settled under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
