2. Rest & Take It Slow
• You may feel tired, emotional, or deeply relaxed afterwards, this is normal. • Allow yourself time to rest, unwind, and avoid rushing back into stress.
3. Avoid Alcohol & Caffeine
• Try to limit alcohol, caffeine, and stimulants for 24 hours as they can interfere with the energetic clearing process.
4. Eat Light, Nourishing Foods
• Choose grounding foods such as stews, fruit, vegetables, and whole foods. • Avoid heavy or processed meals directly after your session.
5. Notice Your Emotions
• Emotional release is common. You may feel lighter, more sensitive, or reflective. • Allow feelings to come up without judgement, this is part of the healing.
6. Spend Time in Quiet
• Reiki continues integrating for up to 48 hours. • Gentle activities like meditation, journaling, breathing exercises, or a slow walk can support the process.
7. Avoid Intense Exercise
• Choose gentle movement only for the rest of the day. • Let your nervous system stay calm and regulated.
8. Protect Your Energy
• Avoid draining conversations or environments. • Spend time with people who feel calm, supportive, and grounded.
9. Be Kind to Yourself
• Healing doesn’t end when the session does, shifts may happen physically, emotionally, and energetically over the next few days. • Treat yourself with patience and compassion.
