Pre-Facial; Where possible please refrain from the following for at least a week before; Fillers, Botox, Retinol, AHAs, Laser on the face, please try to attend with as minimal makeup as possible remove any contact lenses. Post- Facial please drink plenty of water. This will hydrate your skin, ensure you wear an SPF 50 every day to prevent aging & pigmentation. Where possible for maximum benefits please leave your skin free of any other creams or make up for the 12 hours. Please consider using the recommended home care products as this will accelerate your results. Contra-Actions; Erythema, skin shedding , purging (breakouts ) Frequency Recommended; Every 2weeks/Monthly depending on the facial. Please also see after-care advice for specific advanced facials.
Pre-Waxing; Please be sure to bring with you to your appointment loose fitting clothing for the areas to be waxed. Post-Waxing; Please refrain from wearing any deodorant or creams on the day off your appointment. Please also avoid the following for approximately 48 hours any swimming, extreme heat to the area such as sauna steam rooms, sunbeds, hot showers or baths any lotions potions/make-up or fake tan for at least 24 hours as your pores will still be open. Please remember to exfoliate the area you have waxed every week starting a week after your wax this will help prevent in growing hairs. Contra-Actions; sensitivity,redness, open pours, occasionally tiny red spots this is usually if the after-care has not been followed correctly. Dead skin shedding. Frequency Recommended; 4weeks. If you didn’t rebook at your appointment, contact me two weeks after your appointment to arrange your follow-up within four weeks this will give you the best results. If you are not a regular waxer, please bear in mind the results will not last you four weeks, it takes time to get the hairs on the same growth cycle.
Pre-Massage; If you have Hair that will fit in a bobble/clip please bring this with you. Wear minimal jewellery as I will be asking you to remove it. Please ensure you have checked that you are not medically contraindicated as I cannot refund treatment cost on the day. (Less than 12weeks pregnant unable to massage) To maximise your experience, I would advise to have your phone on silent. Post-Massage Avoid a heavy meal or exercise for the next hour. Drink plenty of water to help filter out the toxins we have broken down. Depending on the purpose of your massage, how much free time and money you have, it can be recommended every two weeks or once a month.
