What is ISR?
Inkless Stretch Mark Revision (ISR) is a paramedical skin technique that uses precise micro-needling combined with a specialised regenerative serum to trigger your skin's natural healing response - specifically collagen and elastin production - in the exact area where stretch marks or scars have formed.
Unlike lasers or ablative treatments, ISR doesn't destroy tissue to force a result. It creates a controlled micro-trauma that tells your skin, in its own language, to rebuild.
The result: smoother texture, improved tone, and skin that looks - and feels - more like the surrounding area.
What can it treat?
ISR is used to revise:
• Stretch marks - including pregnancy, growth spurt, weight change, and bodybuilding-related marks
• Atrophic scars - including surgical scars, C-section scars, and injury-related scarring
• Hypertrophic (assessed case by case)
ISR can be performed on all skin tones. Each treatment plan is assessed individually.
How does it work?
The treatment uses fine, calibrated needling to create controlled micro-channels in the skin. A serum containing growth factors, peptides, and hydrating actives is worked into these channels during treatment - delivering regenerative ingredients directly where collagen remodelling needs to occur.
Your skin then enters a natural healing cycle over the following weeks, gradually rebuilding the dermis from within.
Most clients see visible change after a course of treatments, with results continuing to improve for months after the final session as collagen matures.
What to expect:
• A thorough consultation before any treatment
• Multiple sessions are typically required - - usually 3 to 6, spaced 8 to 12 weeks apart
• Some redness and darkening of the treated area is normal in the days following treatment - this is part of the healing response, not a setback
• Results are gradual and progressive, not instant - this is real tissue change, not surface coverage
• Downtime is minimal; most clients resume normal activities within 2-48 hours

ISR doesn't erase. It revises.
The goal is for your stretch marks or scars to become less visible, less raised or indented, and closer in texture and tone to the surrounding skin. For many clients, the change is significant. For some areas and skin types, the improvement is more subtle.

Results Brows may appear darker immediately after treatment, this is completely normal. As healing progresses, the colour softens and settles into a natural finish within 4-6 weeks. Results typically last 1-3 years, with a touch-up recommended to maintain shape and colour.

To ensure the best possible results, a complimentary consultation is required prior to all PMU appointments and can be booked through our website. A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. We kindly ask for at least 72 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Cancellations or changes made within this time will incur a fee of 50% of the service cost. Appointments cancelled or amended within 48 hours of the scheduled time will result in the full service fee being charged. Please note that all payments are non-refundable.
