Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 hours. Cleanse your lashes regularly with a lash shampoo. Avoid steam, saunas, and swimming for 48 hours after your appointment. Steam & humidity & hot climates can make your lashes come out quicker. Do not get too close to any heat eg hair dryer as it makes your lashes lose their curl or even singe them. Do not side sleep where your lashes are touching the pillow. Bonus points if you use a silk pillow case. If using an eye mask, ensure it’s lash friendly. Do not use oil-based products around your eyes. Refrain from rubbing, pulling, or playing with your lashes. Brush them gently each day with a clean spoolie.. Book infills no longer than 3 weeks apart.
Keep your lashes and brows dry for 24 hours. Avoid steam and heat for 48 hours. Do not apply makeup, oils, or creams to the area for 24 hours - even longer if possible will help to prolong the perm. If brows have been waxed, avoid exfoliating, retinol, sun exposure, sun beds for 48 hours. After 24 hours, apply the nourishing serum provided daily to hydrate the hairs. Avoid rubbing the area or sleeping face-down. Do NOT get another LVL/lamination treatment until 6-8 weeks has passed, or the lashes/brows feel completely back to normal - although tint in between treatments can help to prolong them.
As all my skin treatments are deeply exfoliating, it’s important to adhere to the following aftercare: Do not touch your face unnecessarily for 24 hours. Avoid wearing makeup and keep skin completely clean for 24 to 48 hours. Avoid sun exposure and wear SPF 50 daily. Do not use active skincare products for 5 to 7 days (retinol, acids, vitamin C) or exfoliate. After 24-48 hours, use hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Use products with clean and natural ingredients as anything you put on your skin afterwards will penetrate it deeper than usual. Avoid the gym, steam rooms, or any sweating for 48 hours. Redness or tightness is normal for a few days after treatment, skin may also feel dry, tight, or start to flake—do not pick or peel. Please contact me if you’re concerned.
