Established in 2015, Makeup by Annie is a multi award-winning mobile beauty service, offering a luxurious experience in the comfort of your own home. Led by Annie-Mae Dawes who holds 18 beauty qualifications and years of extensive training, we pride ourselves on delivering flawless results with the highest standard of care and attention to detail.

I began my beauty business in 2015, where I trained for 4 years at a specialist production arts college. Since then I gained 18 beauty related qualifications and kept up-to-date with the latest training, masterclasses and techniques. I have won 2 awards for my work and been involved in some amazing projects including:

I am mobile covering areas in London & Hertfordshire, and travel globally for weddings and events. This means you can have the highest quality treatments in the comfort & convenience of your own home, work, venue, hotel, etc. I will bring all the equipment needed (all cleaned before & after), including a beauty bed for certain treatments, so the only thing I ask from you is a well-lit space for me to work, and to please inform me of where I am able to park - I kindly ask for you to cover parking if there are any charges. In certain cases I may need the use of a sofa, chair, table or plug socket.

Please pay in cash where possible on the day before leaving appointment. Please bring correct amount as I may not have change. We operate a strict cancellation policy on ALL bookings. Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice subject to availability. Any rescheduling, no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours will be charged 100% of the treatment fee. Any potential treatment complications will be fully explained to you and for some procedures a consent form must be signed prior to your treatment to show you acknowledge the risks involved. For injectables, you must be willing to disclose your medical history. You may be refused treatment if I believe there is a possibility of contraindication. Please inform me beforehand if anything that may affect treatment changes between filling consent form & day of treatment. If contraindication isn’t disclosed until I arrive, an alternative treatment can be offered or a fee may apply. Some treatments require a patch test. Before and after photos MUST be taken for insurance purposes, but won’t be posted if you do not consent.

It is essential to clean your lashes when getting lash extensions with an oil-free lash shampoo - they cannot be cleaned with makeup remover or just water.
Cleansing your lashes not only helps them to last longer & keeps them looking fluffy, but also prevents eye infections, lash mites & damage to natural lashes which are a result of built up makeup, dirt & oil from your skin.
Aftercare kit includes:

How to clean your lashes: 1: Squirt some lash shampoo foam onto the eye (one at a time) 2: Use cleansing brush to gently work the product into the lashes, focusing on the root 3: Thoroughly rinse off with water or saline solution 4: Repeat on other eye 5: Use a lash fan or hairdryer on a cool setting and a spooly to blow dry your lashes. If you leave them to dry on their own, make sure to brush them out with a spooly afterwards 6: Repeat 2-3 times a week

Acne disclaimer As with all facials, for best results it is important to maintain your skin with regular treatment, healthy diet, plenty of water, suitable skin care and SPF. For stubborn acne it is particularly important to note that the underlying cause of the spots (whether that be hormones, diet, stress, etc) must be addressed in order to maintain clear skin. This facial will be the most beneficial to those who are also maintaining their skin with their lifestyle. Please also be aware that there is a small possibility that you may experience a very slight breakout purge after treatment, which is nothing to worry about.
