It can be overwhelming choosing from so many options.
There are many things to consider when choosing your nail treatment such as, • Is this a one off set? • What are my nail goals? • How long do I need the product to last? Just to name a few...
I work with a prescription manicure technique so once you make an appointment you need to complete consultation forms before we meet. For your first appointment we will complete an assessment, discuss your options and queries to create a treatment plan to reach your nail goals.
I specialise in structured gel which is offered in a soft or hard product. Soft gel simply means it is able to be soaked off with acetone. I offer a free gel removal pack for one off clients so the gel can be removed safely at home. Hard gel is not soak off and must be removed if used as a full overlay, by a professional.
Home of Nail Art, also known as HONA, is a professional UK based brand who specialise in hypoallergenic products. This reduces your risk for developing an allergy by removing the top contributors such as TPO, IBOA, HPMA and HEMA.
Working with a hypoallergenic brand does increase appointment times, unlike other brands who use different chemicals. Retention can also vary while we find your suited products.
Builder gels are used to build structure, which will protect nails as they grown.
I use two HONA products under the 'soakable' builder gel title: • Classic Builder gel: Truebuild A harder product closer to a 'typical' builder gel. Best for Dry, Brittle nails that are prone to slitting, cracking or chipping. Short - medium length.
• Rubber Base Builder gel: Truefoundation A more flexible product. Best for soft, bendy nails that tear easily. Short - medium length.
Best for clients who have lifting with other gel products, are extremely heavy handed or want longer nails. Suitable for all lengths.
For structured gel (builder and hard gel) as your nails grow, this structure moves meaning there is an element of upkeep when using these products. I recommend 3-4 weekly appointments. You must go to a licensed nail technician to have this removed (serious damage can be caused by ripping off at home).

Parent/ guardian attendance is needed at the first appointment and must complete consultation forms with the under 16, providing written consent.
We will discuss options and ensure that under 16s understand maintenance and aftercare.
Choose this option if you are a returning client for Classic Builder Gel (HONA TrueBuild).
You are required to complete all consultation forms before your appointment. Ensure you complete these at least 48 hours before your appointment time to avoid the cancellation policy if any issues are found within your forms and your appointment is cancelled.
This service is for any base service only. Additional colour and nail art must be added before the appointment for an extra cost.

Choose this option if you are a reoccurring client for rubber base builder gel (HONA True Foundation).
You are required to complete all consultation forms before your appointment. Ensure you complete these at least 48 hours before your appointment time to avoid the cancellation policy if any issues are found within your forms and your appointment is cancelled.

Please add this extra 30 minutes to your treatment to ensure we have enough time to give you the optimum support. This is for breaks that need a sculpted extension, needing to be fixed within your next infill.

This is for breaks that need fixing outside of an infill appointment.
Repairs are free within 72 hours of the appointment (I must be notified in this time).
Set price is £10 for one nail repair with extension and (£5 per further extension or £4 without) for any other nails in need of fixing. You will be charged 10% per nail for any nail art.

If you know what brand your previous technician used please message me beforehand so I am ensure you have a more accurate price and I can add extra time if needed.
Choose this option if you would like a removal of foreign classic or builder and tidy without any reapplication of gel.
Removals will typically be straight forward to remove but some brands or chemicals can be much more difficult. It will take longer to remove this product safely, if this is the case there will be a charge or £5 extra per 15 minutes taken. If you know what brand your previous technician used please message me beforehand so I am ensure you have a more accurate price and I can add extra time if needed.
