Before You Book


All the important bits in one place.

Nothing dramatic — just the things that keep appointments smooth, safe and stress-free.

1. Booking Info

Card Capture

A saved card is required to secure all bookings.

You’ll only ever be charged if you cancel late or don’t attend.

Cancellation Window

Please give 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move your appointment.

Cancellations within 48 hours may be charged up to the full service amount.

No-Shows

Missed appointments are charged at the full rate of the service booked.

Late Arrivals

If you’re more than 15 minutes late, your service may need to be altered or rescheduled.

A fee may still apply if the appointment can’t be completed.

2. Colour Policies

Skin Testing

A skin test is required at least 48 hours before any colour service if you’re new, or it’s been over six months since your last colour with me.

Over-18 Policy

I only offer colour services for clients 18+ — this is for safety and insurance purposes.

Consultations

All new colour clients need a quick consultation before booking.

This is where we check your hair, do your skin test, and make a plan that makes sense.

Booking the Correct Session

If you’re unsure what to book, please book a consultation.

Booking the wrong service may mean we need to reschedule.

3. Refund + Redo Policy

Refunds

Hair services are non-refundable.

You’re paying for my time, expertise and the work completed during your appointment.

If the result isn’t what you expected, I’ll work with you to adjust it — not refund it.

Redo Appointments

If something doesn’t feel right, contact me within 7 days of your appointment.

Anything after 7 days is considered a new service.

A redo may be offered if:

  • the agreed result wasn’t met
  • something lifted or shifted unexpectedly
  • there’s a genuine technical issue

A redo is not offered if:

  • you changed your mind about the look
  • you used products that affected the result
  • external factors (heat, chlorine, DIY fixes) caused the issue
  • the request comes after 7 days

At the Appointment

We’ll assess what needs tweaking and what’s achievable within the redo session.

If more time/product is needed than a standard adjustment, normal charges apply.

4. Guests + Accessibility

1:1 Studio

I work in a calm 1:1 environment, so I’m unable to accommodate extra guests.

There’s a café nearby if someone is waiting for you.

Allergies

I have a severe nut allergy.

Please avoid bringing snacks containing nuts to your appointment.

5. Photos + Video

I occasionally take photos or short clips for my portfolio and social media.

If you’d prefer not to be included, just let me know — totally fine, no awkwardness.

6. Payments & Pricing

  • Prices are “from” and based on time, hair length and texture.
  • Card & contactless payments are accepted.
  • Cash is fine too, but card capture is still required to book.
  • Prices and services may change without notice.

7. Data & Privacy

Your details are stored securely through the Solo system and used only for:

  • appointment management
  • safety
  • essential communication

Your information is never shared with third parties.
