Please follow these guidelines carefully: • Keep the tattoo wrapped for 2–4 hours after your appointment. This protects the area from bacteria and contaminants while the skin begins the healing process • Gently wash the tattoo after removing the wrap. Use lukewarm water and a fragrance-free, gentle soap. Avoid hot water, as it can irritate the skin and disrupt healing • Pat the tattoo dry using a clean tissue or paper towel — never rub. Rubbing can damage the delicate healing skin. • Allow the tattoo to air dry for a few minutes before applying any aftercare products • Apply a thin layer of a recommended aftercare cream or a fragrance-free moisturiser (e.g. Aveeno, Cocoa Butter, Hustle Butter). Cleanse and moisturise the area 2–3 times per day. • Avoid over-moisturising — this can trap bacteria, slow down the healing process, and potentially affect the tattoo’s appearance. • Keep your hands clean before touching your tattoo. Always wash your hands thoroughly before cleansing or applying aftercare products. • Avoid the following while your tattoo heals: Direct sun exposure Swimming (especially in chlorinated water) Excessive sweating or gym activity • Healing timeline: The surface of the skin typically heals in 10–12 days. Full healing, including deeper layers, takes up to 6 weeks.
