Manicures & Gel Manicures

Manicure Aftercare - To keep your nails looking flawless and your hands feeling their best, follow these simple aftercare tips: Immediately After Your Manicure: 1. Allow your nail polish to fully dry before using your hands to avoid smudging. 2. Avoid contact with water, heat, or steam for at least 2 hours to let the polish set. Ongoing Care: 3. Moisturize your hands and cuticles daily to keep them hydrated and prevent dryness. 4. Avoid using your nails as tools to open or scrape objects—they aren’t designed for that! 5. Wear gloves when doing household chores, especially when using cleaning products or washing dishes. 6. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, as it can weaken your nails and cause polish to lift. Gel Manicure - Specific Aftercare: 7. For gel nails, avoid picking or peeling them off to prevent nail damage. Always book a professional removal. 8. Use cuticle oil daily to maintain flexibility and prevent the gel from lifting. 9. Avoid extreme temperature changes, such as soaking in hot water or exposing your nails to very cold conditions, as this can cause lifting. 10. Book infill or removal appointments within 2-3 weeks to maintain the health of your natural nails and your gel manicure’s flawless finish. Additional Tips: • Avoid using harsh chemicals on your hands, as these can dull your polish or damage the gel. • Use a non-acetone nail polish remover if you need to touch up non-gel polish. • If you experience any discomfort or damage to your nails, consult your technician. By following these tips, your manicure will stay beautiful, and your nails will remain healthy and strong.
