- Choose light, nourishing meals to support your bodyβs natural healing processes.
- Avoid heavy or processed foods immediately after your massage.
π 4. Be Mindful of Emotions
- Lomi Lomi massage can sometimes bring emotional release. Itβs normal to feel emotional, reflective, or deeply relaxed.
- Give yourself space to process if needed.
π 5. Warm Bath or Shower (Optional)
- A warm Epsom salt bath can soothe muscles and support detox.
- Avoid very hot baths or showers right after the massage as your body temperature may still be adjusting.
β οΈ 6. Watch for Reactions
- You may feel sore or light-headed β this is normal and usually passes within 24 hours.
- If soreness persists beyond 48 hours or you feel unwell, contact your therapist or GP.
