Welcome to The Waxing Company based in the beautiful village of Cemaes Bay on the Isle of Anglesey.
I created The Waxing Company after a 20-year career in nursing, most recently working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Before that, I spent six years as a Sexual Health Nurse, where I saw every day how difficult it can be to trust a stranger with such personal concerns.
That experience shaped the way I wanted my treatment room to feel. I wanted to create something a little different – a place where clinical expertise meets specialist intimate waxing and intimate health treatments, delivered with professionalism, discretion, and genuine care. My priority has always been to ensure that every client feels safe, respected, and completely at ease from the moment they walk through the door.
Throughout my career, I've seen how concerns about skin, intimate health, and confidence can affect people's everyday lives. I also know these can be difficult conversations to have. That's why I've created a calm, welcoming environment where you can feel completely at ease, ask questions without judgement, and receive honest, evidence-based advice.
Every treatment I provide is underpinned by my clinical knowledge of anatomy, skin health, and patient safety. Whether you're visiting for specialist waxing, skin blemish removal/screening, or intimate wellness, you can be confident that your care is always my priority.

As a vegan I promise I will only ever use products that are vegan and cruelty free. I use a Waxpad form a UK small business, they are made from medical grade sustainable material that are antibacterial, antifungal, fire retardant and UV resistant. They are made from a man made fibre with 100% cotton backing. I use recycled couch roll. There will be no compromise in quality. First of all hair is removed from the whole back, shoulders and blending into the arm hair using strip wax. Then using peelable wax hair is removed from the gluteal cleft and the scrotum. The buttocks can be added if you wish for an extra £5. Peelable wax is used as this provides a much more comfortable wax in these delicate areas as it doesn't adhere to the skin.

A consultation to assess whether your skin lesion is suitable for CryoPen treatment. During the appointment, the lesion will be examined and the treatment process, expected results, and aftercare will be explained. If you are suitable for on the day treatment and you wish to go ahead then this will be discussed or you can book for a future date.
