Welcome to Vibes

Hi, I’m Karen, the face (and heart) behind Vibes. I’m 34, based in Airdrie, and when I’m not in my treatment room, you’ll usually find me being a teenage girl mum, dog mum, or fiancé… most likely with a coffee in hand (Starbies is basically my second home ☕💁🏻‍♀️).

I’ve been in the beauty and holistic world for over 7 years, with 5 of those spent as a spa therapist at the incredible Gleneagles Hotel. While I loved the job, the long shifts and time away from family just didn’t sit right with me. So in March 2023, I took a leap of faith and created Vibes, with a lot of help and encouragement from my big sister, Claire 🩷. She was my biggest cheerleader and played a huge role in bringing this dream to life. Sadly, I lost Claire in April 2024, but her love, support and energy are stitched into everything I do. Vibes will always be part of her legacy too.

What started as a passion project quickly grew beyond anything I expected. By June 2024, I waved goodbye to Gleneagles to make Vibes my full-time job. Then, in February 2025, I went from mobile treatments to opening my very first premises, my cosy little haven that I’m so proud to call mine. ✨

My space is designed to feel warm, calming, and safe, a place where you can leave the world at the door, and just breathe. I offer a mix of holistic massages, facials, and B12 injections, and I’m always expanding my treatments (I love a training day 😍). But at the heart of it all, holistic therapy is what I do best.

My goal is simple, for every single client to walk out of Vibes feeling lighter, more at ease, and completely cared for. This is an inclusive space where everyone is welcome, exactly as they are. 💕
