Do you offer male intimate waxing?

Yes - but only for new male clients who have been referred by an existing client. This helps maintain a safe, comfortable, and professional environment for everyone.

This policy is in place solely for personal safety and applies to all new male clients. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. Thank you for your understanding, cooperation and respect.

What type of wax do you use?

I use high‑quality professional wax which is designed to be gentle on the skin, while effectively removing hair from the root.

On the intimate area, face and underarms we use hot wax, as it causes minimal discomfort for the client.

For fast and easy waxes on the legs, arms, back and chest, we use strip wax.

What is the difference between hot wax and strip wax?

Hot wax is applied directly to the skin over a light layer of oil, which protects the surface of the skin. As it cools, it wraps around the hair, instead of sticking to the skin. Once it sets, it is pulled away, removing the hair from the root with less pull on the skin. This makes it especially suitable for intimate areas, underarms, and other sensitive zones, where comfort matters most.

Strip wax is spread thinly across the skin and removed using a paper strip. It adheres more to the skin’s surface, allowing quick removal over larger areas. This method is ideal for legs, arms, backs, chests, and other broader sections, where efficiency is key.

Does waxing hurt?

There is some discomfort because hair is removed from the root, but most clients find it very manageable. Regular waxing reduces sensitivity over time as the hair becomes finer.

What hygiene measures do you have in place to ensure my safety?

We prioritize your health and safety by following strict hygiene protocols, including:

• Using a new spatula for each strip (No double dipping)
• Sanitizing all tweezers in barbicide
• Changing towel, and disposable coverings after each client
• Wearing gloves during the entire waxing process
• Cleaning and disinfecting all equipment daily

How long does the result of waxing last?

Results typically last 3-5 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle, the area waxed, and how often you get waxed.

How long does my hair need to be?

Hair should be at least about the length of a grain of rice. If it’s too short, the wax won’t grip properly.

Can I be waxed if I’m pregnant?

Yes, waxing during pregnancy is completely safe. You may be slightly more sensitive due to hormonal changes, however I will ensure that you feel as comfortable as possible throughout the treatment.

Can I wax during my period?

Yes, however you must wear a tampon or menstrual cup. If you cannot wear either of these I would request that you reschedule, as it will not be possible to carry out your treatment.

Can I bring my child to my appointment ?

Yes, we are happy to accommodate clients who bring children/ babies.

We do not permit other adults in the waxing studio during a treatment.

Should I trim before my appointment

No need! Your therapist will trim if required. If you trim yourself, you risk over‑trimming which can make the hair too short to wax.

Is your salon LGBTQ+ friendly?

Absolutely! Our salon is a welcoming, safe, and inclusive space for everyone in the LGBTQ+ community. I fully respect names, pronouns, and all personal preferences, so that every client feels confident, comfortable, and fully supported during their visit.

Can I keep my underwear on?

For extended bikini waxes, disposable underwear is provided for your comfort. You are welcome to wear your own if you prefer, but please be aware that creams or wax may come into contact with the fabric.

For Hollywood, Brazilian and G-string waxes, it is necessary to remove underwear. This ensures a complete treatment.

Can I bring my dog with me?

Dogs are welcome, provided they are calm, well behaved, and not disruptive.
