Consultations & Patch Tests
For safety and insurance purposes, all clients must be 18 years or older.
All new clients must book a consultation and patch test before their first treatment, as per legal requirements.
A £20 consultation fee applies. This will be deducted from your treatment plan or first session.
If, during your consultation, it is determined that you are unsuitable for treatment, your consultation fee will be refunded. If you choose not to proceed, the fee is non-refundable.
Consultations include a full assessment, treatment plan discussion, and patch test to ensure your safety and suitability.
Informed consent is required for every appointment via consultation forms, which must be completed before your appointment.
For safety reasons, all appointments must be attended alone, as this is a home-based clinic with no waiting area.
Deposits & Payments
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and must be paid via the link in your confirmation email. This deposit will be deducted from your treatment cost on the day.
Pay-as-you-go bookings: A £20 deposit must be paid at least the week before your appointment. If unpaid, your slot will be released.
Prepaid treatment courses: A 50% deposit is required at booking, with the balance due at your first session.
Deposits are only transferable or refundable if the appointment is cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice.
Card details will be securely captured at the time of booking and may be charged in accordance with these policies if necessary.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
I kindly ask for 48 hours' notice minimum to cancel or reschedule so I can offer your slot to another client.

Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice:
No-Shows & Same-Day Cancellations
If you fail to attend your appointment, cancel on the same day, or don't confirm a rescheduled appointment, you will be charged the full appointment cost using the card details on file.
This policy exists because last-minute cancellations prevent me from filling your slot while my costs remain the same..
Late Arrivals
Arriving more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling and your deposit may be forfeited.
Booking & Your Appointment
All bookings must be made in advance via the online system or by contacting me directly.
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you, please arrive on time.
For safety and space reasons, appointments must be attended alone.
Protective glasses must be worn during laser treatments whenever advised.
Ensure your appointment time suits you and any childcare arrangements are in place.
Pre- & Post-Treatment Advice
Following pre-treatment and aftercare instructions is crucial for optimal results and reducing risks such as irritation, infection, or scarring.
Your treatment cannot proceed if you arrive with:
Fake tan or recently tanned skin (natural or sunbeds). A minimum of 4 weeks is required before treating sun-exposed skin.
Unshaven areas for hair removal or tattoo removal.
Use of contraindicating medications without prior disclosure.
In these cases, the full appointment fee will apply.
Inform me immediately if you become pregnant, start new medication, or experience any health changes.
The clinic reserves the right to refuse service if medical, pre-treatment, or post-treatment instructions are not followed.
Treatment Courses & Suitability
Multi-session treatment courses must be paid in advance to qualify for discounts.
Treatments cannot be transferred to another person.
Suitability is based on medical history, skin type, and other factors. Always update me on any changes to your health or medications.
Results vary per individual:
IPL & laser treatments produce long-lasting hair reduction.
Electrolysis is the only method for 100% permanent hair removal.
Hair reduction per session: On average, 10–20% per session, with multiple sessions (typically 8–12) required, spaced 4–10 weeks apart depending on the area.
Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued for completed treatments or prepaid courses.
If you have concerns about your progress, please contact me immediately so adjustments can be discussed.
Changes to Services
Bare Laser Clinic reserves the right to update services, pricing, or policies at any time.
Any changes will be communicated in advance to clients.

Repeat Cancellations / No-Shows: Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
I understand that the treatment area must be protected from sun exposure and sunbeds for at least two weeks before and two weeks after my appointment.
If I choose to use fake tan, I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ensure all traces of tan are fully removed from the treatment area prior to my appointment.
I understand that if I arrive with:
• recent sun exposure (natural or sunbed), • an active or fresh tan, or • any visible fake tan on the treatment area,
my appointment will be cancelled, and the full treatment fee will still apply.
