Rachael gave me an incredible massage. It was my first time seeing her and she was caring and thorough. The session started with her asking me about my health and what I was looking for. An old shoulder injury had my entire right side very stiff and in discomfort — Rachael’s massage was extremely healing. I was in the UK on holiday but if I lived there I would treat myself to a massage with her regularly for maintenance and health reasons. I highly recommend her.

I had seen Rachael at a local event and got talking about the service she can provide. I was looking for some treatment based on my lifestyle (busy, active, barefoot, different demands on the body etc.) and being 40, there are a few niggles and strains here and there that have never really ever been sorted ,despite attempts to sort through other means. Rachael really tunes in to my needs and listens to my response to certain movements or triggers in the body. She has an excellent understanding of the body and really taps into what the body is telling her. Her set up is very good. She creates a safe space and makes you feel very comfortable. Whilst also being a lovely human being. I would highly recommend Rachael. If you have had one of those niggles, aches, pains, strains, that has been around a while - or just need a general tune up - give her a go.

My name is Rachael Welsh, and my work is to help you listen to that story. Not to fight it or silence it, but to understand it. Here in my Hastings & St Leonards practice, I offer a space for that quiet, essential work to happen. Because I believe that living a life with ease and freedom isn’t a luxury; it’s the way you’re meant to feel.
To do this, I use a language of touch, drawing from a deep well of practices:

This first-time session is designed to help you begin your journey with personalised advanced clinical and holistic massage in Hastings & St Leonards.

Whether you have a formal TMJD diagnosis or not, I can still provide a thorough assessment and, if needed, refer you back to your dentist or doctor for further evaluation.
This session includes a full consultation and assessment of the temporomandibular joint and any other contributing factors to your jaw pain, followed by a full 60-minute bespoke massage treatment in a welcoming, non-clinical space.
Using advanced techniques such as deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and the award-winning Jing Method™, your treatment is tailored to reduce pain, improve movement, and restore balance. Hot stone therapy is included at no extra charge, and every session ends with tailored aftercare advice to give you practical self-care techniques and exercises to continue your progress at home.
