1. Introduction

Welcome to K G Beauty. These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and services provided by K G Beauty, based in Edinburgh. By booking an appointment, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please read these terms carefully before your appointment. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch before booking.

2. Bookings & Appointments

All booking requests are subject to review and confirmation. Your appointment is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from me directly. A booking fee (a percentage of the service cost) is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This fee will be deducted from your final balance. Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time to avoid disrupting other clients, and full payment will still be required.

3. Consultations & Patch Tests

Certain treatments require a consultation form to be completed before your appointment. This helps me understand your needs and ensure the treatment is safe and suitable for you. Some services may also require a patch test to be carried out at least 24-48 hours before your appointment. If a patch test is required, your appointment cannot go ahead without it. Please answer all consultation questions honestly and fully. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect your treatment or result in the service being refused.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend your appointment (no-show), will result in a 50% charge of overall appointment. I understand that emergencies happen. If you have a genuine emergency, please contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to accommodate you.

5. Payments

Payment for services is due at the end of your appointment, unless otherwise agreed. I accept the following payment methods: cash, card, and bank transfer. Please ensure you have your preferred payment method available at your appointment.

6. Refund Policy

Refunds are only offered where there is a legitimate issue with the service provided, and no other suitable resolution can be reached. If you are unhappy with your treatment, please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss how to resolve the issue. I am committed to ensuring you are satisfied with your experience. Refunds will not be given for change of mind, or where aftercare advice has not been followed.

7. Client Responsibilities

Please come to your appointment with clear expectations and goals for your treatment. This helps me deliver the best possible results for you. It is your responsibility to inform me of any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or skin sensitivities that may affect your treatment. Please follow any aftercare advice given to ensure the best results and to minimise the risk of any adverse reactions.

8. Health & Safety

Your health and safety are my priority. I reserve the right to refuse or stop a treatment if I believe it may not be safe or suitable for you. If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule your appointment to protect both your health and mine.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

K G Beauty is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Any personal information you provide will be stored securely and used only for the purposes of delivering your treatments and managing your bookings. Your data will never be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

10. Liability

While I take every care to provide safe and professional treatments, K G Beauty cannot be held liable for any adverse reactions or results if consultation forms have not been completed honestly, aftercare advice has not been followed, or relevant medical information has not been disclosed. By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
