Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive complementary therapy which seeks to rebalance the body via applying pressure and manipulation to key areas of the feet. Reflexology is based on Eastern philosophy, which views the feet as a mirror of the body – with different points corresponding to organs, systems and energy pathways. By stimulating these reflex points, the body is encouraged to restore balance, release tension, and activate its natural healing responses. As well as being rebalancing, Reflexology is deeply relaxing, so it's a beautiful treatment to have to really relax and recharge.

Hi, I’m Claire Knight and I trained at the International Institute of Reflexology in London with further training at The Cotswold Academy in Cirencester.

I’m also a qualified Mindfulness Teacher and integrate calming, grounding techniques into your Reflexology treatment. These practices help quiet the mind, support you in holding whatever challenges you’re currently facing, whilst also helping to restore the body’s natural balance through Reflexology.

My intention is that you leave each session feeling deeply relaxed and nurtured, more connected to yourself, with your body gently shifting into a state of recuperation and repair.

Reflexology is a well-established complementary therapy that helps bring the body into a state of balance and homeostasis. Rather than causing harm, it supports the body’s natural healing abilities by reducing tension, stimulating circulation and promoting deep relaxation.

Most of the time, Reflexology is a wonderful option as a restorative and deeply nurturing treatment. However, because Reflexology can increase blood flow, there are some situations where it may not be appropriate. It is generally advised to avoid Reflexology if:

You are in the early stages of pregnancy (1st trimester)
You have Deep Vein Thrombosis
You have any form of internal bleeding.
You have lymphatic cancer.
