A relaxing experience for you and your baby. Pregnancy massage can offer so much to relieve pain and discomfort, swelling, anxiety and stress and much much more. It is scientifically proven to also have a calming impact on your growing baby!
NB: you must be a minimum of 12 weeks in gestation and have written confirmation from your midwife or consultant if you are in a high risk category of pregnancy that it is save to carry out massage

As a first appointment this allows me time to gather history on your medical background and your antenatal history (previous pregnancies, any current risks to your or your baby).
Growing a human is an exhausting process. Many women come for a well-deserved relaxing treatment, and cherish the time they have to truly enjoy and relax in their session.
Sometimes, however, you may be suffering with the side effects of pregnancy such as symphysis pubic dysfunction (SPD/PGP), aching hips, lower back pain, diastasis recti (the dividing of the abdominal wall) which only adds to the discomfort. As well as treat with massage I will be able to assess and apply (where appropriate) kinesiology tape to support these areas, to ensure you continue with your pregnancy much more comfortably.
NB: If you are considered a high risk pregnancy you MUST discuss this with your midwife or consultant and provide proof of consent to treatment. Failure to do so may result in treatment not being carried out
