I understand life can get in the way, so if you do have to cancel or reschedule your appointment please do so as soon as reasonably possible. To cancel or reschedule an appointment without incurring a cancellation charge, I require 24 hours notice. Any cancellations or changes to your appointment after this point will be charged 100% of the treatment fee.
Medical Questionnaire: Before your first appointment you will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire in order to ensure you’re safe for treatment. Should anything change following your first appointment it is your responsibility to inform your therapist Myofascial Cupping: Cups are often used to dovetail your massage treatment, where areas of muscular tension are apparent. If you do not consent to the use of these, or are on any blood thinning medications please let me know prior to your appointment. If not discussed I will gain verbal consent to use them during your appointment. Marks/bruising: Very occasionally (particularly when using cupping therapy) you will experience marking or bruising on the skin. You will be informed of this during treatment but please be reassured that this is perfect normal during sports massage and dry cupping. Children/Young Adults: It is preferred for an adult to accompany anyone under the age of 18 to the appointments. You can either remain in the treatment room or if preferred you may wait in the waiting area whilst treatment is carried out. Clothing: You will be asked to remove clothing to allow me access to treat you. You will be covered with a towel and I will leave the room to allow you privacy to undress yourself before and after treatment. If possible please wear shorts and a T-shirt (vest top for ladies) as dynamic stretching and therapy may take place.
